THERAPY | SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
Dr. McCoy - LPC, LMHC
At Free to Live Counseling Services, we are committed to providing a supportive and empowering environment where individuals feel safe, connected, and free to grow. I am Dr. Latisha McCoy—a dedicated therapist, author, wife, and mother. My fascination with psychology and how it shapes human behavior began in my teenage years and deepened throughout my academic journey. Over the years, it was the change I witnessed in people after helping them mentally and emotionally that affirmed my belief that therapy is not just a profession, but a calling—because it is truly life-changing.
With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, I have held various roles, including family-based therapist, clinical supervisor, and counseling program director. Prior to founding Free to Live Counseling Services, I worked with one of the world’s largest telehealth providers, supporting clients across the United States and in 20 other countries. Inspired by the encouragement of my clients, I launched Free to Live Counseling Services during the global pandemic to provide accessible and personalized mental health support.
I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey. My approach is eclectic, integrating cognitive-behavioral, rational-emotive, psychodynamic, and humanistic techniques to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. While I am here to guide and support you, meaningful progress requires active engagement in the therapeutic process. I look forward to partnering with you on your path to healing and growth.

THERAPY
Dr. Grant - LMHC
I am a licensed mental health counselor in Florida and Washington and have been a licensed counselor for over 25 years. As a pastoral counselor, I believe the sacred and the spiritual are integral to who we are and how we walk our walk. I earned my master’s degree in pastoral counseling from Loyola University in Maryland and my doctorate in education from Northcentral University in Arizona. My experience has focused on solution-oriented therapy, mindfulness training, and trauma-informed interventions. I enjoy working with veterans, adolescents, and people wrestling with change that accompanies stages and hard realities of life. I am drawn to Jungian psychology, and I employ imagery and symbolism as ways of understanding and reflecting.
I am an avid fan of labyrinths and find them to be useful tools for moving mindfulness and insight development. My interest in this area became my dissertation for the doctorate in education I earned in 2016.
